Do you actually get the recommended 8 hours a night? I rarely do and wondered what most get?

Sleep How I Love You
If I am working I get about 6 hours of sleep a night. I know that its horrible for my body and progress but working 12 hour shifts really takes alot out of a girl.

I get 7 hours per night and that seems to be enough for me. If I get any more then that, I have a hard time functioning.

I shoot for 8 hours, but sometimes I am lucky to get 6-7. I notice that my body functions much better on a full 8 hours. Anything less, and I'm tired all day... unless I become one with my coffee mug.

Nine hours a night. My son is in college and I get to do what I want. Bless his heart if he comes home he'll have to sleep on the couch - I made a gym out of his room.

I try to get about 7 hours of sleep a night. It doens't always happen and when my classes start I go on 4 or 5 hours of sleep for weeks. It really effects everything...it's very hard to function.

Between 7-8 right now, plus I sometimes catch a nap on the weekend - that's usually laziness setting in!

I wish I could fall asleep earlier but I just cannot do it so I am stuck with 5-7hrs sleep depending what time my boys wake up. They get up around 5:30am and I fall asleep anywhere from 10:30pm-12:00am

Let see.....12 - 130 pm ....7am 5.5 - 6 hours on average....but I love to nap when I get the chance....oh how I love to nap.
I feel like a slug if I sleep 9 hours in a row....i feel more justified breaking it up during the day, if possible.

I aim for at LEAST 8 hours, most nights I get a bit more than that, but sometimes I sleep late and wake up early only having about 7 hours sleep and make it till the weekend and sleep in on Sat or Sun morning to make up for the lack of sleep. If I don't get enough sleep, my immune system gets low and I tend to get sick after not having proper sleep, not sure if it happens to other people. So yeah, to stay awake all day and feel good, 8-9 hours sleep

if i'm lucky i get between 5.5 -6.5h/night. I work 9-10 hours a day, 6 days a week so it's difficult to train, do daily chores, eat dinner, etc and get a full night's sleep.

My sleep is so messed up, mainly because I work at a sleep disorders clinic to help others with their sleeping disorders. Since I work graveyard shifts I sleep during the day and now im stuck like this on my days off. Day sleep sucks. Just remember though that 8 hours is not for everyone. Some people require less and some more.

Lately it's been 7-8 hrs (usually more like 7) but I feel much better when I get 8-9 for a number of consecutive nights. I think it makes a huge difference.
