    everyone's body is different.

    But most books and online articles say that the most muscle someone can gain without increasing bodyfat is 1/2 lbs of muscle per week which is equal to 2 lbs a month. Some can gain only 1 lbs of pure muscle a month, some can gain 3 lbs of pure muscle a month but the average human being can gain about 2 lbs of pure muscle.

    i did but after that month your gonna get to a point where it gets harder to gain more muscle.

    In July I put on 18 Pounds of Muscle. I ate right, and I worked out hard for Two Hours everyday. No Lie you all. I went from 230-248 and am now at 252. O also BF% is below 14%.

    Not all was Muscle Though, Before my BF% used to be 12% Know it is 12.8%

    18 lbs gain is pretty impressive you musta bumped your calorie intake by like 2,000 or something lol. IF your on a bulk its probably never gonna be 100% all pure muscle, youll usually gain a little bit of body fat even on a clean bulk. But if you get alot of protien, carbs, calories and workout hard In my opinion i think 5 lbs for the first month is possible, eventually it will slow down alot when your body gets bigger.

    psst, that's a 2% bf increase, (230*.02 = 4.6 lbs) meaning, that you probably gained around 10lbs of muscle. I can say that I have gained consistently .5 lbs each day when I eat right, I have my spells of bad eating though, which has greatly effected by gains, I'm still way above 2lbs per month though. (these weights were taken at the same time of day) yesterday I went to the gym after a week of not going or eating right due to remodeling(hardly had clean clothes and a place to sleep, was remodeling my place from 6am to midnight trying to get it done) weighted in at 171.6, then today i weighted in at 172.6 tomorrow i'll prolly be around 173.3 or 4, this stops after a week though, and slows to about .2 a day. (i've never really been in shape so my body really takes off when I treat it right, but the change in lifestyle is the hardest part for me, i slip into old habbits). So if you've been building for more than a few months seriously, 10lbs is out of the question minus juice, i'd say. But for me it's happend.

    I just had lots and lots of Carbohydrates. Everyone says that you should only be in the weight room for 45 minutes, cause you start to go into a catabolic state shortly after that. I eat so many carbs that I am in the weightroom every day for between 1.5-2 hours. I mean, what happened to the good old long workouts. And right after i have 3 scoops of protein (roughly 70 Grams) and then 1 cup of NOW's Carbo Gain, 100 Grams of Maltodextrin Carbohydrates.

    No bull****, i have gained twenty five pounds of muscle in a month and a half. lowered my bf. I doubled my cal intake tho, but i was happy with the results.
