I just picked up a monster size can (50 oz) of canned chicken breast. Each serving it says is 70 calories, 1.5g fat, 0g carbs, 12g protein. When you add up the macros (1.5*9)+(12*4) it only equals 61.5. I know most brands just round up but which numbers are proly right. Do you think the calories are right and fat and protien are rounded or are the calories rounded and the fat and protein correct or are there some carbs. I'm just trying to figure out how to record this in my food journal b/c I want everything to work out exactly so how should I record this (cals, fat, carbs, and protein)?
Although it might not work for canned chicken, for minimally processed foods that are the same regardless of brand (chicken, veggies, oats, etc.), this is great:
