XXL nutrition (Dutch company, but they ship all over the world I think) - whey delicious vanilla flavor.
A little thick (depends on how much fluids to powder ratio you use), but if you add cold milk and an ice cube it tastes like a vanilla milkshake. No vile whey taste.
I dreaded taking protein shakes for years until I came across this one, actually look forward to drinking this in the morning or post W/O.
Also great if you're lactose intolerant to some degree. I use lactose-free milk and have no issues with the powder itself.

I use Now,Whey Protein Isolate, Natural Unflavored. I hate artificial taste of a lot of powders and sweetners other junk. This one taste like dry milk (what whey should taste like) and has a decent texture in water or milk. The other nice thing about this is that 95% of the calories are protein, where flavored poweders 30% are carbs/fats. I get a lot more protein per 100 calories than I do with flavored powders.
Its also easy to work with for smoothies. Its unflavored, if I want to make 300 calories smoothie, with a 40 grams of protein, I use a high protein milk like fair life. A scoop of low calorie/sugar vanilla ice cream and then add in whatever i want. If I want strawberry, I add fresh strawberries. If I want to chocolate, I add a small amount of chocolate syrup. If I need more fat, I add a nut butter.

your question is about the best tasting whey protein ,so i m taking my consideration to isolate one , you can check out myprotein flavours like chocolate brownie and natural chocolate these are the best flavours of myprotein and results of the isolate one are also good that gives u 21-23 (depending on the flavour) grams of protein per scoop that is of 25grams.
