    Want to start powerlifting routine - need advice

    I want to start doing a powerlifting routine, and I want my routine to consist only of the big three. My question is, how many sets of each lift should I do (in the 1-5 rep range) and how would I setup this routine i.e. bench press monday squat tuesday etc.??

    I've been lifting for 2 months using mainly machines and doing 3 sets of 8-12.

    Well just remember you need to train using other assistance exercises also...you can't be very successful doing just your comp lifts.
