i heard the most **** up **** about the new book i hope its not true or ill be pissed.
Possible SPIOLIER !!!!!!!1
I Basically hear that everyone dies (harry, ron, herminoe, hagrid, Dumbledore(again) snape, voldermort)
also i heard that snape is really a good guy but had to kill dumbledore to get close to voldermort.
I really hope this is not all true. I will be very upset.

So in an effort to re familiarize myself with the HP universe I've begun to read through some of the older ones.
And damn. In the beginning (first 80 or so pages) of OotP, Harry is the most annoying, emo, non personable character in literature.

But yeh now she has a responsibility to ensure the safety of her readers, as like others have suggested, there will be nutcases out there who simply wont be able to deal with it - me included (jk).-101,221, I can see the light - thanks

I'm Regulus. :evilsmilie:To the Dark Lord
I know I will be dead long before you read this but I want you to know that it was I who discovered your secret. I have stolen the real Horcrux and intend to destroy it as soon as I can. I face death in the hope that when you meet your match you will be mortal once more.

Couple of things i noticed, or thought...
In book 1, Harry says how he feels snape looks through him, as if he can read his mind.. made me lol, after reading book5
Amilia Bones = A.B.. maybe Amilia is her 2nd name and goes by that?
We know that Voldemorte killed/had her killed, maybe he knew she knew to much...
Also.. im pretty sure JK NEVER confirmed "Dumbledore" to be dead, instead she said "the person that dies in book 6 is deffently dead", or something on them lines. Well, how many times did hermione say someone was dead? and other people saying it too...
Reading the first few books, DD keeps saying how when the curse rebounded voldemorte put part of himself into harry, possible horcrux?
The phophecy, says one must die at the hands of the other... notice on DH book cover there are no wands?
What if Harry goes mano with volde.. but both find wands and manage to summon helpers.. volde getting ronnie, and harry gets a silverback...
who wins?

Hmmm. Never thought of that one. Very good catch.

Horcruxes don't happen accidentally. As Riddle learned from Slughorn, they're complicated magic. "Accidentally" making a horcrux is the muggle equivalent of throwing 16 tons of airplane parts into the air and having it come down a fully-assembled fighter jet.

Lol what would you all do If HP came out in the film proper jacked (well for his age) and starts flexing it when Malfoys about.
I do think he needs to bulk up a bit cos ol HP is lacking in the size department.-101,221, I can see the light - thanks

c'mon bro - forget about radcliffe look at urself! i really hope the tag 'I know i'm skinny' is not for real and u actually are on this site mainly for its bbing info and have made some progress.
I've noticed this thread and being a potter fan i read it occasionally, and u guys are pretty good sleuths.
To add/stir the pot: whats with the references to Hermione's parents in the books? I've sorta got the idea that whenever Rowling mentions something in passing, but adds detail to it, we can be sure its important. LIke Aberforth - he's got like three sentences in the entire series, grindlewald, etc. (don't want to spoil anything but readers of mugglenets editorials might know what i mean)
It was mentioned that Hermione's parents are muggles, both dentist, don't really like her doing magic, and seem to go around alot - france, skiing etc- so i would love to see whether Rowling would take this up further in the 7th book.
Anyone else thing the same?Last edited by nellyei; 07-10-2007 at 09:18 AM.

Yes I do have a gym membership - its costing me ?44 a month! Been moving back home from uni and doing stuff with the gf, so havent seen much of the gym lately. My weight has been up and down, and Im looking forward to when I can finally move back home so that I can join up to a gym round here and get back into a routine.
Thats been the main issue, not being able to keep a routine and eating. I need to get back on the rails with the eating and start cramming it in. But yes I did come here for bbing tips, and found this thread interesting.-101,221, I can see the light - thanks

nah i ain' t trying to e-fight or anything - just giving u some motivation! yeha gym membership prices are BITCH especially when u r a college student (me included).
I've somehow managed to survive on paying for food and gym membership - but thats when i sacrifice buying txtbooks and instead borrow at the library. lol
Anyway again, wasn't trying to pick a fight.
So back on topic (lol) yes it would be to see HP with some muscle (no homo) but then again i wonder if in his world theres a spell or potion that can make u big ? something like an Engorgement charm lol. mind u not too big. But yeah radcliffe def needs to pump some iron, he's looking pretty skinny.
u going to see OOTP tonight? i'm in Oz so it opens up here today (its the 11th at 2am )Last edited by nellyei; 07-10-2007 at 09:48 AM.

Who's going to a midnight showing tonight?
It's easier to get the single 10 at the bar, than one of the five 8s.
Healthy mind. Healthy body.

I'm going to see it on Saturday. I wish I was going tonight but I can't.
Did anyone catch the 1 hour special on the A&E channel about the 5th movie on Sunday night? It was pretty good and they showed a bunch of new scenes and talked to all the actors. It was pretty sweet.*SCC*

wondering whens the earliest we can post on our thoughts on DH? American's and Britains get it at midnight, while Aussies get it in the morning - so i'm saying 7-8 hours of an amnesty then let the discussion begin?
