There is a NEW nutrient timing article in Muscular Development, out on newsstands NOW(Dec issue, pg216-217). This article summarizes some VERY recent research that came out this year in respect to whey protein hydrolysates(WPH), ffEAA and intact proteins, related to either pre-workout,Intra-workout or PostWO nutrient timing! Anssi and I collaborated on this article, he took certain nutrient timing sections, while I took others!

We have another much larger article coming out in a future issue of MD, that is specific to Intra-Workout supplementation(yes IntrAbolic). keep an eye out!

I also noticed a beta-alanine article in this months issue of MuscleMag, NOT by AEN

It's not bad, some basic physiology is screwed up and some beta-alanine info is off but over all a nice read! It also plugs IntraXCell, so regardless of any errors, the author is still good in my book!!

Thanks Mick. There is also another good article in there by Anssi, titled" Bodybuilding Supplements" It goes on to discuss a recent study showing WPH out performed casein in increasing Lean body Mass(LBM), strength and promoted FAT LOSS.

The article goes on to discuss how LEUCINE when combined with WPH can further enhance muscle protein anabolism.

Of course this is a primary reason why we spiked our custom WPH in IntrAbolic with extra leucine!

Oh yeah, nutrient timing is emerging fast, in particular intra-workout and pre-workout nutrient timing. Post-workout timing is pretty established already in terms of what we need and when. This year in particular, there has been a surge of intra-workout research coming out, showing how beneficial it is to take protein/peptides/ffEAA's intra-workout, from a anabolic, anti-catabolic ,recovery and exercise performance standpoint. Dosing and forms of ingredients taken intra-workout is very different from our needs when compared to preWO and postWO for obvious reasons, so we must view this window very differently. We certainly have some specific intra-workout articles on the way, that will go into much more detail.

It's actually a huge topic and it will take a while to convey to the mainstream bodybuilding audience in a palatable way. We know we have our work cut out for ourselves, but we are ready

Yes, I thought not...pre-workout seems pretty well in hand and so does intra- with the release of IA, but I think PWO still has a lot of road to go before there is a magic bullet standalone product...

Yes, IntrAbolic certainly takes advantage of THE latest intra-workout research and hopefully will become THE intra-workout supplement in the near future.

The nutrient timing research, specifically intra-workout, still needs to nail down some of the mechanisms of action in certain area's. For example, we know it bring about certain effects, but HOW? The how has yet to be figured out in certain intra-workout aspects. For the end consumer it doesn't really matter, as they understandably just want results and they will get them from a intra-workout supplement like IntrAbolic. But for researchers, they still have a ways to go, before they fully understand how some of these ingredients are effecting anabolism, catabolism and performance.

Maybe AEN should come out with a postWO supplement!!

We have a saying that goes like this "Drink apple juice, OJ will kill you".

To prevent future murders from Orange Juice Simpson, I'll suggest you make a fresh orange flavor. Or he will hunt you down.

Anything purple/blue - forget them.

I tested pw/sp250 both purple/blue flavors on my baby newphew & 2 god-sons, who will not resist any sweet thing. they said 2 words "VERY STINKS!". The thing is the cap/bottle are left with very strong smell. I virtually soaked my bottle overnight everytime I use those 2 supplements. But then those 2 products are working very well for me (and still recommend them to my friends). I might use them again but other flavor version of their products though. No more blues/purples for me.

If it tasted like SteelEdge, that would be great! I'm pretty much cool with anything fruit punch or blue raspberry lol. Lemonade is good too!
