Ok I bulked up to 180 and then cut down to 140 where i'm at right now.. I'm lean and feel lean except one problem... My belly still has a tad bit of fat on it.
I remember my lower belly being really cut and no fat and now there is blob of fat on there.. it's annoying to look at
im 18 140 pounds 5'7"
I train 4-5 days a week doing situps, pushups, pullups, dips, body squats, jumps, power cleans. Then I do 2 days a week of cardio which includes increasing the pace and heart rate quickly for about 15-20 minutes. I sprint back and forth, jump rope, jumpe onto ledges, jump as high as high can and sprint again.
I absolutely suck at dieting, I don't know what is what and what does what.
all I know is protein gives you muscles. I don't know what carbs do, I don't know when to eat carbs, I know you have to drink a protein shake after a workout.
Basically I need help and strategies to losing this last stubborn belly fat

Dude, diet is EVERYTHING. You NEED to follow a good diet to kill those last few pounds. To be honest, I don't even know how you've managed to get this far without it. Start reading up on the stickies here and at the nutrition section to get a good idea of what you should be eating.

Lamb Chops? Seriously? I'd reserve that for my bulks not cutting. I don't think you could've picked a fattier cut of meat. Even if it is the best tasting!
String Cheese and Cereal? Dude, I feel like I'm getting punk'd by Ashton Kutcher.
In the off chance that I'm not on Punk'd, let's change the breakfast to look closer to this;
6 hard boiled eggs (2 whole + 4 whites only)
1 Slice Whole Wheat Toast (light) + 2 tbs Peanut Butter
or equivalent...
Protein + Complex Carb + Healthy Fat ration in like a 40/30/30 split
Should be easier and quicker to slap together than grilling up Lamb Chops for breakfast. Does sound like a good dinner though for tonight!
What's the rest of your eating day look like?

I'm in the exact same boat. I work out 5 days a week, HIIT cardio (2.75-3.5 mi. treadmill) after lifting every day, and I have been on a pretty good diet for the last couple months. A rough outline of my diet . . .
Wake Up: Nitrix, cup of yogurt, banana, 2 slices plain ww toast, water
2-3 Hours Later: Smoked turkey breast sandwhich on ww bread, few carrot and celery sticks, water
2-3 Hours Later: Nitrix, plain can of tuna, few more carrot and celery sticks, water
2-3 Hours Later: Lean Cuisine (or similar brand) chicken dinner (chicken alfredo, chicken and rice, etc.) with veggies (none of the desserts that come with it), water. I've started to substitute this meal with Met-RX protein bars.
2-3 Hours Later: No-Xplode, wait 30 minutes, lift/run for 1:15-1:30, Cell Mass immediately after
30 min-1 Hour later: 4-5 boneless skinless chicken tenders with a bowl of lettuce, can of tuna, water
2 Hours Later: Nitrix, water
Then I sometimes drink a small glass of skim milk before going to bed and maybe a banana
I know it's not a perfect diet but for my busy schedule and my tastes it seems to work. I'm definately open to any suggestions though.
So I'm down to that point now where I'm hovering around 160-163lbs (was at 215 about 5-6 months ago). My lifts continue to go up and my weight is staying the same (which is a good sign to me). Every day it seems like that "V" is showing a little more around my abdomin area and my arms are getting ripped and a lot of veins showing through (which I've never had), and my pecs are starting to get some real definition. However, I still have that pinch of fat around my lower stomach and love handle area that just won't go away. I feel like I'm right on the brink of getting into that body I want, I just don't know how to get over that hump.
Any tips on how to get over this hump? I'm willing to try almost anything at this point. I'm extremely dedicated to this and I've changed my entire life around to make this happen. It's become almost an obsession to me at this point. Now I just need that little edge to make it happen.
* Sorry for sorta hijacking this thread. I think a lot of people are in the same phase we're in and need some help getting over the hump.

Avant Lab's new topical solution Abliderate would be ther ideal choice IMO,in conjunction with lowered kcals and cardio.Napalm should work quite nicely as well.
AFAIK both are only available on nutra planet but Lipoderm Ultra,Lipoderm-Y,Liposolv or Skulpt would be my second tier choices if either Napalm or Abliderate are unavailable.Last edited by NiceGuyEddie; 10-25-2007 at 04:43 PM.

I know I mentioned it earlier but I a real believer in carb cycling for those trying to get over that last hump.I actually eat MORE calories with carb cycling than I did with a static diet but I' m losing fat better. The lower your BF, the more you body will adjust to what your giving it, so if your diet is fairly consistent, your body will adapt and fat loss will slow down, so carb cycling is my first suggestion.
Otherwise, looking at your diet, you may want to add more protein with you first meal, the yogurt, banana and whole wheat bread is a lot of carbs but not to much protein. You may want to sustitute one of those with eggs. Also before bed, I wouldn't eat a banana. That is a lot of simple carbs before bedtime. Just a couple of suggestions. Great job though from where you started, good luck.Black with a Small Hat

k true very true ..
Only days I go oevr 70g carbs is workout says then my breakfast is a big bowl of oats + eggs + some meat + protein shake . or fiber one + protein shake ..
Then pre workout some brown rice or fish + wheat bread ..
then post workout WMS and my PWO meal is usually the other half of my brown rice or more fish + bread + veggies fruit etc ..
so then carbs go over 100g and my fats I keep lower to fit my calorie intake needs with workout time included ..
seems to be working thus far .. looking forward to refeed day this week though in a major wayjust lift HEAVY A$$ weights & eat on dat healthy isht . * hellabutt psychology 101 *
