The side effects of cardio can be quite severe. In the worst cases, participants will spend hours on BB.com arguing over whether HIIT or low intensity cardio is best. They lose their jobs, friends, even family.

Just say no! You're better than that, is a six pack really worth losing everything in life that matters?

Of course you can! You just have to be more patient. Why not just do a bit of cardio every week?

Calories burned are calories burned, and a calorie deficit is a calorie deficit. If anything, it will probably just take longer for you to reach your fitness goals -- so in that case it becomes a decision of whether you hate the cardio more than the slower progress.

You lose the belly by eating right. Eat the right foods and that will be your core source of burning fat.

Cardio helps you too. I've been losing some fat by combining a well-placed food regimen and doing cardio every other day. I feel more energetic nowadays and feel that cardio has been a very good supplementing factor. It's like taking vitamins throughout your day. You'll hinder your results if you don't take vitamins, as you don't do cardio.

**** yeah cardio is way overrated. Why not just eat less calories and move quicker when lifting try to only rest 30 seconds.

You can lose weigth with diet alone, but diet and weight training is better, and diet, weight training and cardio is even better for preserving muscle/losing fat.

Man up and do some god damn cardio, it's good for your heart and lungs, and a faster way to lose fat. AND IT'S FREE! Let me demonstrate.

Step 1 - Put on Clothes and shoes.

    Step 2 - Tie shoes.

    Step 3 - Go outside.

Step 4 - Run around for awhile.

And in 4 easy steps, you're bodyfat will suddenly disappear!

Liposuction is not a good tool for losing weight. Liposuction (suction lipectomy, lipoplasty, liposculpture) is a powerful sulpting tool for localized fat between the muscles and skin, but it is of no value for fat inside the belly. Diet and exercise are much better for general issues. Liposuction can then be used for localized residual problems, if any.

    Hope this helps,

Very informative reply. Lipo would be good if you can see four of your abs yet you still have some love handles then, one would assume.
