    Anyone here use Royal Jelly?

    Does anyone here use that? or used it? My friend takes it and he says it gives him a bit more energy in the gym for that last rep.

    Hello,

    I would like to inform you that Royal jelly (-ONLY- 100% concentrated) helped me to gain 24lbs (10.8kg) of -muscle tissue- (!) in 6 weeks without ANY negative side effect, NO gain loose + Awesome mood (of course with good training).
    (2g - 2 times per day, morning and bed time.)

    The only negative: It is very expensive (70$ for 60g) for the 100% concentrated product (here in Greece, i don't know about other country prices).

    I have to recommend it to everyone as steroid alternative (seriously).

    Someone at my gym used it and said it didn't work. For your friend it's probably more of a placebo effect if he thinks he is having some more energy on his last rep. I tried size on once but kept it in the refrigerator all day before I drank it. During my workout I felt stronger. Later I realized creatine turns into something else after a short amount of time so it was useless. It was all in my head and this is probably the same way.

    false. royal jelly will refill his dextrose levels. it will give him maximum efficiency going by food. if you went to supplements it would help him even more. but your last rep should always be the one you struggle with imo

    Royal jelly isn't exactly something that will help build tons of strength and mass.
    It does have a good amount of protein and amino acids. And it's found in alotof chinese medicines. It's believe to help with alotof things such as anti-inflammatory, lowering cholesterol, etc.

    I'd consider it along the lines of something more as a multi vitamin. Although it really isn't that. I wouldn't recommend it as a protein shake replacement or anything. Good product though.

    Also, don't take it if you're allergic to bees, pollen, all that kindof stuff.

    Impossible. You cannot gain 24 pounds of muscle in 6 weeks.

    BS plain and simple. One can only gain, at most 2 pounds of lean muscle per month. Only more can be achieved through use of ph/ roids. This is widely known thoughout the BBing community.

    Dont come on the Teen Forums and make false claims.

    If you want an energy boost in the gym eat an apple before your workout, or a sweet fruit. Dont waste your money on NO, or other pre workout supps. They work for a while then you realize its placebo effect, and your just working out harder because you think they should be working. I used to use one, then I stopped and spent money on a Multi/ Whey, still have killer workouts. Its mind over matter.

    I've actually read about royal jelly.
    From what I've found is that most studies done have been flawed and contradict each other. Some studies show that it increase strength rapidly while other's show that there is no effect at all. I would recommend testing it, and if you see a boost in strength than continue taking it, but if there is no increase than finish the product but don't buy it again.

    The problem is that you have to pay to read most studies done royal jelly (Science journals).. and I don't really care enough. I do recommend Green Tea, as a supplement, flax seed oil, fish oils, and grape seed oil.. and yogurt with bacterial culture. (I eat biobest)

    it wasnt hard, i just bought thirty pounds of steak and stapled it to myself. there you go. 24+ pounds of muscle tissue in 4 weeks ( it would have been shorter, but it is expensive so i had to wait for my paycheck)

    Sorry to resurrect from the dead, but this is the newest royal jelly thread so thought Id contribute.

    most people's take on supplements are so 1-sided, whether or not it "works", they completely miss the point of some nutritional supplements. Does broccoli work? yes or no? What does that mean? Does royal jelly work? Yes or no? Its not a question of whether or not it "works", it's whether or not it benefits your health. And if it does benefit your health, how does it benefit, and do you need it? Nobody on this site is taking supplements of broccoli or kale so they can run longer or get an extra superset in in the gym. There's no miracle drug. If you want a miracle drug, try No2 or something made up of all these chemicals that have no extensive research and completely **** with your body (probably) in the long run by stressing your kidney, heart and liver among others. People "take" broccoli, brussel sprouts, tomatoes, fruits, and all of kinds nutritional **** because it benefits the health and works (scientists have BARELY breached how this even works. they cant even figure out vitamins) and ultimately means if your body is working properly, you will be able to recover faster, push harder through more healthier neurological and circulatory, reproductive, etc. system in your body. It is not instant. It is not DIRECTLY for muscle gain or performance enhancement. So to answer the famous question of whether or not royal jelly "works".. who knows? How many people have taken it when they were UNHEALTHY to see if it contributes to recovery? How many people have taken it for years and noticed a difference in energy in those years compared to 5-10 years before? Probably nobody.. so the only thing one can do is look at actual studies (not performance studies but health studies) to see if royal jelly is good for the health. There are scientific studies that conclude things like faster healing for wounds and bug bites (which I have tried and yes, its remarkable), faster healing for outbreaks of herpes, a study in mice that show repair to testosterone damage, etc. But there are no studies that show that it can cure cancer, AIDS, because frankly, it takes more than a small healthy supplement to combat complex interworkings of the body for fighting disease, like cancer. All you can hope for is that it is doing your body good based on the studies provided, and that your body's natural system will improve. And in the sense of lifting, if you have a healthy body, you will recover faster, be able to life more, and go longer. But health takes a long time to build, matter of months and years. Not weeks and days.

    Ive been taking it for 4 days, no noticeable difference. In performance and in health. But I don't expect to see any difference for a while. But it works great on wounds thats for sure.

    Hi there, I use royal jelly here in Dubai which comes from China. It is really good for fitness, and you can spend more time in the gym, you feel more energy. You sleep well also. Post workout recovery is also better. I mix Royal Jelly with Acetyl L-Carnitine and it is so far worked well for me. Ensure you buy the original one, don't buy it online or from stores. Go to China market and buy it from there. (Im sure there is a china market where you live)
