Try something very low calorie that you can just munch on...like celery, or you can try some sugar free popsicles or something.

Whenever I have a late night craving, I eat a bowl of oatmeal or drink a glass of skim milk.

If you find that you're hungry even after eating, or if you're hungry when you know you shouldn't be, make sure you're not eating anything with high fructose corn syrup - it's loaded with calories, but doesn't trigger the signal that tells your brain you're not hungry. You'd be amazed at how many products it's in, too. It's in crackers, breads, pastas, cookies, tomato sauces, all kinds of canned goods, peanut butter, yogurt, etc. Start checking the ingredients list on everything. If it has high fructose corn syrup, avoid it. If you can't avoid it, make sure it's at least VERY low on the list of ingredients, or that there's only a few grams of sugar.
