I deleted my smilies. I know you probably didn't care that I posted them, but I still should have put a thoughtful post instead.

I was glad to see you update your log. I'm still jealous of the chin-ups.

I tore my bicep tendon at the elbow a month ago, not even while working out. I haven't exercised since then. It wasn't a full separation, I don't think, because my bicep didn't roll up to my shoulder. I'm hoping I won't need surgery. I think tomorrow I will do some short sets of pull-ups and push-ups to see how they feel.

My dear friend, M. (LOL, sounds like a code name from 007)

Sorry to hear about your injuries.
You work always too hard for your family. Your dedication to your family's wellbeing and wellness is the most admiring quality men could have.

But I hope this once, take good care of yourself. A slight shift of priorities now and then won't hurt you and your family's life a bit.

As for workout, don't make the same mistake as I did. Complete healing with proper care will last, but also incomplete healing will last and haunt your entire atletic life in the future.

See a doctor for complete checkup and treatment. I hope your recovery, not quick one but 100% recovery.

    Take care, my best friend.

    ---------------

Both Marius_Ursus and GrouchyUSMC are my journal buddy, their spirits and attitude toward physical training inspire me always.

Athena (my sister and THE goddess of bodybuilding) and Jreacher, are two of my oldest friends.

You four are the dearests, without your friendship and support I'm nothing.

Your smilies represent love and friendship.

    You are not welcome here.

    This is a training journal.

    Stop posting meaningless smilies.

We are never friends, what is your purpose here.

However, this supramax is a completely different creature.

His posts always represent hate and resentment, so do his smilies.

Why did you delete your last post, supramax?

You were afraid of revealing your true nature too much, weren't you?

This rep whore begged for rep several times and when I found out that he's been constantly harassing my friends therefore I refused to rep back, he flipped out and started stalking me ever since.

I have injuries and try to heal them.

There is a huge difference between "can't" and "don't."

At my age, we don't lift "to failure" every time, just we try it now and then.

Start lifting before opening your mouth and saying you don't understand.

We'll add paranoia to your long list of mental illnesses. Once upon a time, you accused me of stalking you, too, because I posted on a thread that you posted on. You really, really need to get over yourself.

P.S. Our existence is the same as a candle flame. Deal with it.
I won't forget what you did in that "Grateful thread", which you have no business at all and hadn't posted before until you noticed I was a regular there.

And in case you haven't realized it, you are still stalking me.

No one but trolls like you and elterrible do what you are doing.

This is a training journal, not misc, a person like you who doesn't lift can't understand.

The more you post here behaving as you do, the more you reveal your true nature.

So go ahead, keep doing what you always do. Whining and complaining like an old woman.

Longevity is key to lifting. What I'm moving now is nothing compared to what I was doing 15 years ago.

Admittedly I'm back to squatting weight I used to be able to do overhead for reps. And I'm okay with that for right now. Because over 15 years I've hit my 40s, had three children, worked tons of overtime, suffered several serious injuries, and trained at home with just sandbags and calisthenics for almost three years before finally returning to a proper gym.

I'm just glad I can keep lifting and getting stronger now, compared to not being able to do so at all. Ego lifting is cool at first, but eventually you realize you do what you can do right now and enjoy the ride to see where you go.

Kaz trains with a lot of volume, and clearly that dude has no idea how volume comes into the equation. Comparing the two workouts Kaz did 15 years apart, Kaz actually did 2/3 more work in the second one.

    Keep being awesome, Kaz.

    ⭐ Bench Press 220lb (100kg) x 3 (2022/05/25)
    …

At age 62, it's been a long time since I bench pressed 220lb (100kg) for reps last time. I have been rehabilitating using lighter weights due to my shoulder injuries. I'm really glad that I can still do this. Thanks for your support, my brothers and sisters of Bodybuilding.com forums. *bow*

    Amen to that, brother!!

    Keep being awesome, Kaz.
Thanks Grouchy, I'm what I am now because of you and many friends of Bodybuilding.com, without whose supports I'm nothing but an old codger. *bow*
