I won't lie, I like pop, cookies, and anything with sugar in it. It's a bad habit that anytime my blood sugar drops low and i want something quit to eat I go for the sugary foods and the foods with a lot of fat. Luckily my metabolism has kept my weight in check and I haven't become obese. I want to drop 10 pds as well as have a healthier diet. My energy level has been low for awhile and its probably because my indulgence in high sugar food throwing my blood sugar out of whack. Just wondering if anyone here has taken simple sugars out of their diet and what they have experienced, also what health benefits can I expect short and long term and what do you substitute when you get that craving for a bottle of pop or candy bar from the vending machines?

No insulin resistance therefore when you excersize you will have more energy.
Over time you will have more liver glycogen and muscle glycogen because your muscles will have less blood sugar to depend on for energy.SoIFightWithAPenToEnlightenAFriend...
