    are french fries bad?

part of my diet includes a grilled chicken breast wheat burger and fries every day for lunch. Is this too much carbs for one meal?

EDIT: lol. OK I left out some important information that makes this post seem really stupid. The french fries I get only have 6 grams of unsaturated fat and no transfat.

in your bodyspace it says "tired of looking and feeling like crap"
nutrition wise... i'm sure there are better/healthier ways to eat a potato
on average a "serving" of fries might get you 500+ calories(so if you are looking to add calories...)
not to mention the super high fat content(if cooked in oil... some people actually bake em in the oven)

i'm sure you know the obvious answer to your question... if you are looking for a "valid" reason to keep eating em... maybe try finding a reason to eat something more beneficial(or just eat less of it...)

    that's my $.02

Agreed. You should not be eating fries at all, or fried anything from a commercial kitchen period if you want to trim up, reach goals, etc.

STFU. Frying foods magically makes them fattening, but eating fats separately is ok . Avoid fried foods with trans fats, and even that doesn't make much of a difference from a physique standpoint.

Nothing (except stuff like trans fats) is 'good' or 'bad'.

But you could certainly make better choises, including the bun, that would help you achieve your goals.
