I am a powerlifter and all athletes "know" you weight less in the morning. Not me: I usually weigh up to 2lbs more in the morning and gradually lose them during the first three hours after waking up (even AFTER having breakfast and even if I stimulate bowel emptying before eating).
This night-time retention defies my knowledge and research strategies and not even my physicians can figure out why it happens.
I have all sorts of genetic "peculiarities" - I'm hyperinsulinemic, hormone levels are strange, many of which favor me as an athlete.
But night retention sucks because I am a light lifter and therefore my weigh in is always in the mornings at meets.
Anyone has the same "anomaly"?
