Parabody leg press / hack squat

I can get a used one of these for $200, just wondering if it's worth a damn.




It's kinda HUGE compared to the Ptec compact unit, but it's half the price. Squats bother my knees, so that's why I'm looking at a leg press

I have an older model and I really like it...it is nice on my knees and hips.

I use it for squats and calf raises. I am too lazy to switch over to leg presses at times but it works fine for that too.

I paid $200 for mine too. It was well worth it. It does use a lot of weight and I picked up 100 pound plates for it.

Thats an outrage, give me the SOB's email address so I can confront them personally....and if I have too, I will buy it from them to teach them a lesson and use it!!!

Is it pretty smooth? The one I'm interested in is in top shape, but unassembled so I can't try before I buy.

Mine is very smooth. I normally keep about 430 loaded on it...have for years without any problems.

Some that have been used a lot do wear their rollers...the rubber like wheels that roll on the shaft.

I always wanted one of these, just not bad enough to actually buy it.

I've used it, pretty smooth, small foot platform for the leg press. For $200, buy it.
