**** like what happened today reminds me of the wacky things that happened during the Pats initial Super Bowl run that made them feel like a team of destiny: a Pats WR being knocked out on the turf in Buffalo yet recovering a fumble nonetheless, the miracle late game comebacks, the "Tuck Rule Game", 46 yard field goals in blizzards...
This Cleveland Browns team has the same kind of feel to it...

That would be nice, if the Patriots weren't on a whole nother level and we didn't have the last ranked defense...
I think if we make the playoffs, and we see the Steelers, we'll beat em'. AFC West? Beat em. Even Indy looks human now that they have some injuries.
The Patriots? Hell no. We gave them their closest game besides Indy but I still think Belichick was being nice to his old friend Romeo Crennel.GO BROWNS!

now now now. Remember, even when the Steelers are at their worst, they still remember how to play football against the Browns.
Granted, they JUST LOST TO THE ****ING JETS, but they don't suffer letdowns against the Browns.
Good win this weekend brownies. I was rooting for you (yes serious Ravens hatred)

I just get this feeling that we're not intimidated anymore. If anything the Steelers have to have some doubt in their minds after last week's close one.
It's the law of averages I'm playing, eventually it's gonna have to turn in the Browns favor, and winning in the playoffs would make it that much sweeter.
heh, I'm enjoying this "teams are intimidated by us" thing for a change.GO BROWNS!

WOOOHOOOO!!!!!
What a game to be at! Some thoughts...
We scored 27 points today, but we left a lot more on the board. Anderson is so damn inaccurate at times and stares down receivers...yet still does as well as he does, go figure. But when you have the "stadium view" you can see how human DA really is...Quinn could do better and I truly believe that (despite my Derek Anderson wallpaper on my desktop).
I want McDonald to start ahead of Bodden already once Eric Wright comes back. The kid has a nose for the ball, even though it wasn't a spectacular INT...Schaub really giftwrapped that one. His pass breakups were more spectacular plays.
Him and Wright are only gonna get better too...and Pool's starting to figure it out. If our front 7 could ever get some pressure and learn how to cover we're gonna surprise some people.
GO BROWNS! 7-4! We could easily go 10-6 and maybe even 11-5!GO BROWNS!

Next week our secondary is going to have they're hands full with the AZ recievers. That is if Kurt Warner doesnt fumble snaps and drop the ball every time he drops back.
Our run defense is far more improved, seeing how not many backs are breaking away from us. They cant run it up the middle, and our LB's are getting to the outside to shut down the outside sweep.
5 games left, one game at a time.

I was down at the stadium yesterday for the first time in 7 years and it was awesome (my seats were in the first row of the upper dawg pound). Our offensive line impressed me more than anything. Anderson was only pressured a few times and there were some huge holes for Lewis on a few carries. Gotta figure 3 more wins will get us in the playoffs...

Tomorrow's game has me nervous. Warner can still go and he has some awesome weapons to work with.
We'll see if this McDonald kid is for real or not, he'll have his hands full with Boldin or Fitzgerald. I expect a high scoring game between both teams.

x2
BIG BIG game. I still can't figure out how Buffalo is 7-6...they remind me a LOT of the 2002 Browns who sucked on O and D yet somehow finished 9-7 and made the playoffs.
The key is to take Marshawn Lynch and Lee Evans out of the game, no one else worries me. I'm actually happy Trent Edwards is playing over JP Losman. Edwards is more methodical in his passing, but Losman goes for the big play more. The Browns D is more suited to forcing an O to drive the length of the field.
I never take an opponent lightly, but the Bills SHOULD be intimidated, rookies at crucial positions playing in December at Pandamonium Palace? You HAVE to think the Browns have a good shot at winning.GO BROWNS!
