I don’t think losing a good player is a good thing, but it seems like Baker plays better without OBJ. That’s on Baker not OBJ imo.

One plus to having OBJ is that they have to respect him. They have to account for him every time he's on the field. That helps other receivers immensely.

Look, we should not cut it that close against the Bengals. I'm not sure if that's a sign of Baker no longer getting dome behind the Cheesecake factory or not, but that cannot keep happening. Good teams, like the Steelers, will continue to embarrass us.

I agree with you, the chemistry between the two just isn’t there. His value is mostly his presence on the field. Well, it was. LOL.

At this point lets see how the rest of the season pans out.. If Bake balls the F out now that OBJ is sidelined.. I'm all for trading him (hopefully for 1-2 pieces on defense.. he'll also be 29 next season with multiple injuries).

All that aside, 5-2 feels pretty freaking good.

I want them to make it so they can get the post-season experience, but our defense isn't going to allow us to do much in the playoffs. I took my son to the Ravens game and when we left them one minute at the end of the game, I had a horrible feeling in my stomach. Oh well, got my son the Chubb jersey he wanted.

Side note: I saw Rappaport say that Chris Hubbard tore ligaments and is done for the year.

I want to be picky about how we backed into the post-season but it isn't even worth it. Just happy for them, AND US, and hoping this puts a fire in their belly for next year.

FYI....I'm not all that scared of PIT next week. If we can hold onto their pass rush, rapist Ben hasn't been all that this year so it's a good stage for Big Dick Baker to shine.
