Says it all. I was told that toasting bread makes it loose all nutritional value. Like if you toats your whole wheat slice o' bread, it's got "nothing" in it after. No vitamins, no "whole wheat"...
I find this kinda strange, maybe it'll loose vitamins because moisture is gone, but "wheatness"?
This kinda lso goes with whey being cooked, i know that it'll loose all protein if cooked (regular whey).
So does this apply to bread as well?

And you can cook whey - you do not decrease the protein content at all and the biological value remains basically unchanged. It is the biological function of the whey proteins (that is, it's anti-cancer properties, it's growth hormone stimulation, it's immune-stimulating function etc) that are lost. So you can cook it if you want.
