Brohm better be pretty good because who know how long Rodgers will stay healthy. You know that Brohm is going to get a chance to start. I hope he can move the offense effectively

He has had enough leadership over the past couple of years. It is not time for him to step up and lead the team.

I like your pick of Brohm. I'm actually a little jealous of it. He might prove to be the best QB in the long run. At least the Lions didn't get Mendenhall. I was thankful of that. I know the Viking fans are excited about getting Booty but I really don't think he'll be a great QB in the pro's. I thought he was a downgrade in QB from what USC normally has. I guess we'll know in a few years. Lots of trades in this draft.

I think TT might be covering his butt with that pick just in case Rodgers goes down. Brohm is untested though they would have been safer having him at number 3 and picking up a veteran qb

Yeah I was glad to see them pick up a corner. We need to start developing some talent at that position. Woodson and Harris are both getting up in age. Plus we needed a better corner to play the nickle poisition

Yeah it is all about showing his leadership skills over a full season. He did look good in Dallas, but then again that was only one game. This is a big season for him. I personally feel he will do just fine. If he doesn't though you have a really nice QB that could step in in a year or two if need be.

Yeah I agree with your assesment of Booty being a sub-par QB. I really don't see him being anything else but a solid backup QB. Brohm was definetly the steal of the draft. Like I said before if he came out last year he would of been a top 10 pick.

I'm glad the Bears didn't pick up Mendenhall when they had the chance. This could mean another season of watching Benson proving that he is a bust. I know the Bears are looking to rebuild their line but Benson will never be an NFL caliber number one back.

What? We trade down to get a WR? That is the deepest position on our team. Makes no sense to me.

How is a rookie going to provide guidance to Aaron Rodgers? This is another baffling move by GM Ted Thompson.
You should really stop bashing Ted Thompson, hes building a great team.

Moss wasnt going anywhere the 2nd time. He was just saying the other teams as leverage to get more money out of NE.

Even if it is true...he could have appeased everyone by making an effort. Apparently, is doomed to repeat history because he does not learn from it.

Building is the key word. I think he enjoys building a new team, each year, rather than taking the next step like Ron Wolfe did.

No controversy. I watched TT's press conference online and the question was asked. TT said it's Rodgers team, and Brohm knows that. The WC system will take a few years to grasp in order to become effective in going out on the field. Having said that, I think by drafting 2 QB's that Daunte has "missed the boat" (pun intended).

When Cason was selected at #27 I knew why they traded down, but why deal down and pick up another WR?

It's not as if this team has a shortage on them.

Hes just getting started. I would rather be the young Green Bay Packers who will put a great team out there for the next 5 years (at least) than try to get everything now and sign old free agents like the Redskins tried a couple seasons ago.

Were in a great situation right now and Ted Thompson is the guy that put us there.

Brohm is a bright guy, and committed to the game. In that respect he reminds me a lot of Peyton Manning. Whether he has the physical tools to be a great qb is the question. Overall, it was a nice pickup in the second round. I wouldn't be surprised if Brohm ends up being a really good qb.
