just wondering; would an hour of yoga have the same effect or close effect as hiit in the morning?

power yoga hahaha. i wanna try that!
to the OP i have had pretty good luck with doing sprints and leaps with minimal jogging. it only takes like 15 minutes max and keeps me lean while bulking.

For what? Fat loss? Endurance?
B/c for either of those, a half a tabata session will be better than 2 hours of yoga.
Yoga can be great for flexibility, but terrible for your core. You don't learn to stabilize, you learn to flex your core and manuver it. It can be beneficial, as long as you're not doing the crazy spine stretches.
