    Hand Wraps as lifting straps?

Well, I went to a bunch of stores and all of them only had these boxing hand wraps. I've been desperate to get straps but it seems like the only way is online and my dad would never order them for me. Would those hand wraps help my grip? My dls and shrugs have gone down because I haven't been able to increase the weight.

    Thanks ppls

Offcource it helps your grip. When I deadlift I use them, they very handy. Don't use them with every exercise though, because you don't train your grip anymore then.

Yes but they are different from conventional straps??

I train my grip with that grip machine thing but I still can't hold an 80 pounds dumbbell for more than a few reps so I have to invest in straps or else my lifts would be pathetic.

These wraps they said are for protection when boxing and hitting the heavy bag. They didn't say anything about grip.

Tell ya what. Send me a pm with some your address and name, and I'll send you a spare pair I have. I don't know if you guys evey get the YOU'VE WON FREE LIFTING STRAPS! message when you log on to this site, but I get it all the time. So when I ordered some more protein, I typed in the message and the straps actually came. I already have a good pair, so you can have the ones I just got if you want.
