    Recovery time/Soreness

So I've just gotten back into my routine but I was just curious about how long you feel sore after working out certain parts? I did upper body on monday night and I can barely move my arms still :/ Am I not intaking something that I should be to recover faster?

If you are just getting back to training after a good lay off, you'll be sore for 4-5 days if you hit the weights hard. A lot of people take glutamine for quicker muscle recovery and soreness. Glutamine is one of my favorite supplements, too.

It might be a little tougher because you are sore, but I'd just be careful you don't push it too far or hurt yourself. Go with your gut feeling on this, that's usually what I do because I do sometimes workout muscles even if they are sore, but I also try to rotate and avoid this as you stated previously.
