Ok guys, I did a search, didn't really find what I was looking for. What're the supposed advantages to creatine pyruvate? Is it just a matter of it supposed to be better absorbed, or since pyruvate is supposed to help with fat loss, is it a matter of combining the benefits of creatine with those of pyruvate?

I'm gonna bump this back to the top.
Hopefully Loki can answer this for you, as it is an ingredient in Avant Labs Leptigen Mass."That which does not kill me makes me stronger" - Nietzsche

Reason(s) we have it in Leptigen Mass & Basic:
- the creatine itself is included to replenish cellular ATP concentrations, thereby increasing cellular metabolism, and also to prompt cell-swelling and volumization in conjunction with our osmolyte/phosphate-donor additives. It also has very good bioavailability in the human body, much better than monohydrate for sure.
- the reason creatine pyruvate in particular was chosen is because, above and beyond the above, the pyruvate relays to the malonyl-CoA system, to aid in the oxidation of free-fatty-acids, while simulateously knocking out the enzyme GFAT, thereby preventing the glucosamine HCl from being divered and rendered as G6P.It seems these poets have nothing up their ample sleeves...
