Which type of protein is best in the morning, Whey, Casein or other protein?

i have a scoop of whey with 6 oz's of water right when i wake up. i jsut feel better getting some protein in me right when i wake up. after downing that, i make a real meal with solid food. i cant have a shake for breakfast. jsut doesnt fill me up enough. give me a real breakfast.

As long as you eat I don't think it matters. It's only a few minutes difference (correct me if I am wrong) between whey and casein to start getting into your system, same with oats vs. sugar, oats only take a few mintues longer. I would rather eat something that will fill me up then a protein shake, the reason I use whey for after workout (instead of eating a chicken breast for instance) is because of convenience of being able to put it plus oat bran into a shaker bottle and take it to the gym with me.
