serving for serving... you'd have to double PW to get anywhere near as close to ABC... PW is 45 servings for 47.99 while ABC is 50 servings for 51.99
Core wins on the point of sheer volume, also, they list the exact amounts of BA and CM and PW doesnt...Gaspari Nutrition Rep and Overall BAMF

Purple wraath is an EAA supp, Core ABC is a BCAA supp.
Personally, I favor the EAA if it is an early morning workout because you do not have previous meals to cover you. Otherwise, I'd say, go for the Core ABC.31-26-36.

I really liked PW a lot, but Core ABC looks great as well. I do like knowing exactly how much of each ingredient I'm getting with ABC. I look forward to trying it soon.

What is nice about ABC is the fact that you can clearly see how much of each amino you are getting, as well as the amount of BA and CM per serving (which are both dosed very well). Obviously I like ABC alot. You could try both and then decide for yourself.

There should be another choice in the poll - "Tied/Can't say."
I've found they both do the one thing I bought them for - absolute promotion of an anti-catabolic state. They are both great muscle fuel during my workouts, both have plenty of AA, and they taste fine. I think CORE nips PW in the mixability though. At this point, I plan on switching back and forth between these two great products.RIP raprazant

good point, no debate.
Core has higher potency of BCAA's, BA & CM than PW plus you know EXACTLY how much your getting. NOTHING hidden. Bottom line is that you have to take AT LEAST two servings of PW to come close to one serving of Core and even then your probably not at the same amounts of actives.Free Agent

Guys being that I'm from Aus and our import rules are pretty strict here. Guess what, I've got the ammounts of amino's etc in PW =) Not sure the reps would like me if i told you guys tho lol
And for the record I vote for PW due to it including the EAA as well and not wasting space with glutamine which all of us get plenty from our protein powders anywayLast edited by theguvner; 09-10-2007 at 03:02 PM.

Core ABC = 10 grms of BCAA's/5 grms of leucine
Purple Wraath = 7 grms EAA's (bcaa's unkown)/leucine unkown
It's not per container that matters because people don't consume the whole container at once. It's per serving that matters, thats what your taking daily to get the effects.
These products, at least Core is, are much more than amino products. Beta Alanine and Citrulline Malate are very effective products when taken in proper doses.Free Agent

EAA formulas that contain arginine (not an EAA if you over two years old) and lack tryptophan are incomplete EAA formulas. All the research is based on the full EAA spectrum so those quoting that research and using incomplete EAA formulas should go back to the drawing boards. Just in case they didn't know, free form tryptophan is not illegal anymore.
BCAA are much beneficial to an athlete during your workout as this is when BCAA's are oxidized. If you want an AMINO formula then just drink some protein powder as it contains all EAA's/BCAA's.
As for someone mentioning glutamine being worthless, I highly suggest your learn its effect on IL-6 and its role in glucose disposal post workout.Last edited by deserusan; 09-10-2007 at 06:54 PM.

Both great products. Its so close its not even worth debating. There should be a third option "both are good products".

Personally, I do feel its worth debating but no one ever wants to discuss incomplete EAA formulas vs. complete BCAA formulas. If isoleucine or leucine were missing from a BCAA product I'm sure someone would have something to say about it.
The look at the logs or feedback culture here is filled with a lot folks who are HIGHLY inexperienced when it comes to training or supplements. Trusting that feedback is misquided if you ask me."I just use my muscles as a conversation piece, like someone walking a cheetah down 42nd Street." - Arnold Schwarzenegger
