    Any Advise Appreciated

Hi, this is my 1st post, I will be 40 on 4 months, I am trying to shed the belly fat around my middle. I am in good shape cardio 7 days a week (spin classes 4 single days / 2 double days - I teach) every Sunday I take a long run, more as a relaxation thing. I lift 3x a week, more of a low weight hi rep kind of guy, looking to be cut as possible, I also train in Muay Thai Kickboxing 3x a week. I do ab work 3 days a week HARD, 3 days med., I know they are strong, just have a layer of fat over em .
I started eating raw foods only (well at least 90 % of the time) 2 months ago, prior to that I was a high protein low carb guy. I have seen good results so far with the raw food, just not as fast as I would like, down about 14 lbs, I would guess I need to lost 10 - 15 more for my abs to show. I have seen the biggest difference so far in my upper obloquies. I sort of see them melting away, but little or nothing off the actual "love handles, and at the belly button. I would appreciate anyone's advice, thanks for taking the time to read this.

Sounds like you need more muscle mass?? Muscle burns fat. you may be doing too much cardio try heavier weights lower reps and cut back some cardio. make sure your calories are in check 10 - 12 X your bodyweight is the normal for cutting everyones is different so its a bit of trial and error.

Hey there...u r doing too much cardio. Cut a day off and either add a lifting day or change ur lifting schedule from high rep to high weigh/low rep. To find a weight that is suitable do one rep that is just barely possible and cut in half...do 6-8 reps of that weight for whatever body part you are working. Do legs as heavy as you can...men tend to neglect their legs and they are a large muscle group so you may see results a little quicker...good luck!

With as much work as you are doing I am suprised you have any problem with excess fat. 14 lbs in the last 2 months is pretty good. What is your caloric intake now? How many meals a day, etc...

I have not really tracked my calorie intake while eating the raw foods, most days 3 apples, 5 avocados, 1 large green salad w/ tomatoes, mushrooms, guacamole, 1 very small handful nuts (pistachio or almonds) 1 grapefruit or a couple of oranges.
    Thanks for your help.

I also should point out, in lifting heavier, I do not mind, I have a couple of issues though: 1. compete in Muay Thai, so I am mot willing to sacrifice my speed. 2 I do not want to add any bulk, could I be stronger? sure who couldn't. I was also told to add legs, I do them maybe 1 or 2 x a month, with all the spinning, running ect, and the fact I played highly competitive hockey for 20 years, my leg size is fine. I would not have posted if my belly had the shape / cut my legs do.
    Thanks again

Why do people assume big is slow? Now I admit most huge guys are slower but not all. With your training in Martial arts your speed will probably increase muscle is fast. Now I am slow but I don't train for speed. just my 2 cents.
