Hey,
Well I do strength and mass training, and low weight, high rep is supposed to increase strength, im fine with that, But when doing the mass training, i do high weight, low rep like you should, the average is say...
3 sets - 8 reps for each exercise, and people do like 3 exercises per body part.
So when working arms, thats only about 70 reps per workout with breaks in-between, and once i've done this, the problem is i dont feel like i've properly worked out, my arms dont ache as much and it takes next to no time, so it just feels like an incomplete workout
Does anyone else have this problem?

well..
I am in the same boat that your in. I have doing high weight and low reps and am very sore from it. Just make sure your doing enough weight....that si very important. another thing important for this type of training is to have a spotter with you.. Having someone there pushing you is the greatest help to hit those big weights.
I do 5 sets of 5. I am doing about i think 75% of my max or something like that but on the last 2 sets you should be struggling pretty hard.Last edited by david135; 03-10-2005 at 03:32 PM. Reason: add
