Weak back, want to work 2x a week?
Like most newbies I did not work my back as vigorously as I should have, so I have to play catch-up. Anyone else work back 2x a week? I was of course thinking of a width day and a thickness day.
Width day would be something like this
Width day
Wide grip chin-ups (overhand) 3x6-8
Wide grip pull-ups (underhand) 3x6-8
Hammer grip pull-ups 3x6-8
Close grips pull-ups (underhand) 3x 6-8
Lat pull downs 3x6-8
Thickness day
Yates rows 3x6-8
Deadlights
Dumbbell Rows 3x6-8
Hammer Strength Machine Rows 3x6-8
Cable Rows 3x6-8
In all am thinking of doing this
Day 1: Arms
Day 2: Shoulders
Day 3: Thickness
Day 4: Rest
Day 5: Chest
Day 6: Width day
Day 7: Legs
I should be able to keep this routine for about 10 weeks, hopefully this is going to be enough to bring my back up to the rest of my body.
does anyone do anything similar?
