Clay Matthews has 6 sacks in two games for the Pack.

considering they held Demarcus Ware somewhat in check, i'm not too scared of Matthews. If they bears treat Matthews like they did D-Ware and chip him and double team him, there isn't anyone else on the Packers that scares me as a passrusher.

great win today! feels good to win on the road like that. cutler played out of his mind. most QB's would have been shaken to the core after getting bull rushed like crazy early on. but he stayed with and tore up dallas.

next week should be fun. a win on MNF against the pack to go 3-0 would be huge. equally as sweet was watching minnesota get their butt kicked. favre's career will end within a month.

Hey older Bears fans, although it's only after the 2nd week of the season, but when is the last time you have seen a QB from our team ON TOP of the NFL in passing? I really cant remember seeing this in the 20 plus years as a Bears fan lol.

If Brees doesnt have the game of his life tonight, we can at least see Jay sitting up there for another week!

Even Jimmy Mac didn't look that good in 85'. Course when you have the best running back ever to play the game in Walter Payton, you don't need the passing game as much.

Everything you just posted is false. He was beat deep. Doesn't matter if he blew coverage or if he was just too slow. Same result.

To sum up this whole thing:

1) Tillman is not a cover corner
2) Tillman gets smoked in one-on-one coverage regularly
3) Tillman has a starting job because he is a sure tackler and forces fumbles

i haven't even really thought about it cuz ik it won't happen. And honestly for what they'd have to give up (a 2nd and a 3rd reportedly) i wouldn't want him anyways. The Bears have had a hard enough time recovering w/o any draft picks from the Cutler trade.

It's too late now anyway. The deadline has lapsed and so he's suspended for 6 games now. Don't think a trade would be worth it, especially since I don't think he could be in football shape right when he came back--never mind trying to learn Martz' offensive system.

Maybe next year, Jackson's agent is calling AJ Smith "The Lord of No Rings," so I doubt a reconciliation will occur there.

Grossman was a beast to start that year until he fell apart.

It's definitely sweet watching Cutler make throws that I don't remember ever seeing a Bears QB make before.

Grossman had spurts where he played really well but he was never in the same ballpark as Cutler. Cutler is taller, ten times as athletic, has superior vision/awareness, better instincts, and a much stronger arm.

Grossman couldn't hold his nut.
