Hey guys. I am looking to find out whether or not it is a good idea to do cardio on a straight bulk. I have heard mixed opinions on this topic from several of my friends and guys at the gym but I know that there is a lot of experienced and knowledgeable people here, so I would like your opinions. If it is a good idea for cardio during bulk, when should I do it? Thank you.

Strongman and GPP would be more conducive to lean mass gains while keeping you healthy.
From a functional perspective that kind of training has much more carryover to everyday life, in terms of typically encountered metabolic demands to injury prevention etc etc.
Not that conventional cardio doesn't have its place, but it should be one small part of a well balanced program, especially if you are interested in long term health and real world carryover.http://youtube.com/user/Kiknskreem

Cardio is essential to bulking. Cardio training strengthens the heart muscle which improves blood flow to the muscles as they become larger. What is the point of bulking 'like a mofo' when you can't even run 2 miles without stopping for a breather - although you may look like a guy that can run a marathon. Fitness should be maintained throughout any bulk.
You can keep all the calories anyway, just eat more clean foods and everything will fall into place.Owe more reps to:

last spring i followed teh advice of the bulk like crazy and cut cardio guys. I put 4 inches on my waist in 3 months, it sucked. At 4000 calories a day I needed the cardio to help limit fat gain, and then when I started dieting back down it was hell trying to get back into the swing as far as cardio. Now I do cardio every other workout no matter what.
