    Good plan for fat loss w/o muscle loss?

    approx. daily calorie intake: 2500cal
    approx. protein intake: 150-200g
    approx. fat intake: 50-60g

    3 day split football conditioning weightlifting program
    3 rest day, treadmill 500 cal burn
    1 completely rest day

    current weight: 163lb
    approx. bodyfat %: 18%
    goal bodyfat %: 10-11%
    which means i ll need to lose around: 14-17lb. of fat

    Pretty much impossible to do naturally. If you are returning to weights and have previous plateus, you can do it. Maybe a pure mesomorph can do it.

    Your going to always lose muscle if your calorie deficient, you can minimize it by going heavy on protein, maybe 50/40/10 ratios. Never decrease your calorie maintenance level lower then 10-15%.
