    Cool Boxing Training

Does anyone include boxing to their training regime? If so how do you split between weights and boxing? How often do you box/spar and how often do you weight train?

I do all my martial arts training that includes boxing before working out. I powerlift, so it doesn't hurt gains as much as if I bodybuild. I lift 5 days a week and on my off-days, do my martial arts training all out.

All my boxing and kickboxing and martial arts is in the evening so I try to group it togeather with my cardio session and do my lifting in the morning. That way I seperate my aerobic and anaerobic workouts by some 8-12 hours. I have found this to work best for me in that, not only are my gains not hinderred, I feel in tip top shape to spar at night!

I used to run in the morning and then do my martial arts in the evening followed by my lifting last until I realized that the hours apart of working out were no different then if I just grouped all my cardio togeather. I have been able to devote much greater effort to my lifting since the switch.
