I forgot how to speak Dutch, but I was born there. I spent my last two new years eves in Amersfoort
I'll be in Amsterdam for two weeks...can you recommend any gyms? The closest Golds is in Germany
and I don't plan on going there

FYI for anyone else, there are only two weight training gyms in Amsterdam. Barrys Gym and another one, whose name I forgot but is somewhat hard to find (but very close to the Centraal).
Most gyms in the city are for cardio, muay thai, and puff gyms.
I strongly recommend Barrys, near the Heineken Brewery/Experience (towards the Centraal from there). Good atmosphere, people, and owner.

Ik zit in Sliedrecht, iemand die hier wat hardcore gyms in de buurt weet? Train nu in Hardinxveld-Giessendam en dat bevalt best goed, maar ik zou toch graag eens praten met mensen die echt verstand hebben van en ervaring met begeleiding etc.
