Alright, guys, the time is nearly here... Monday, August 6th, 2007 is the day when I officially begin my wrestling training. Instead of posting it up in my sticky, I thought I would create a journal of sorts, detailing each training session that I recieve once I begin, along with my thoughts about what I'm doing. I will update this in the "SYWPW" sticky, but in order to garner more attention, I will use this thread as a means to get everything out in the open for all of you to see. Any questions you guys may have throughout this thread, feel free to ask, I'll answer everything honestly and to the best of my ability.
---------
I cannot wait; I'm stoked to get started and I'm going in there with the mindset to forget everything I've ever done or read and just learn how to wrestle. Everything on my mind since I can remember has been wrestling and that's even more true the last few months.

i'll tell you what chad wicks told me,
"If it doesn't feel right, don't force it. In the long run, it will only lead to bigger heart break and disappointment."
On the other hand, danny, if it does feel right, go for it and the absolute number one: TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF.
If you're hurt, take the time off. No use in being Mr. Macho Tough Guy who ends up crippled both physically and mentally with drug abuse b/c you were to proud to say you were hurt. Also, get yourself some good health insurance, because you're gonna be going to the doctor. A LOT
If you need help with creating a gimmick or working on your promos, I'm your guy. Feel free to drop me a line whenever.
A little bit of advice: Cut a promo on EVERYTHING you can find with your eyes. A tissue box on your desk? Cut a promo on it. Talk about the good times, the tissue box was always there when you had a runny nose or needed to wipe away some tears...but now, the tissue box has betrayed you. It's all out of tissues, now, it's just a useless box. Some friend it turned out to be, etc.
Sorry, going on a rant here.
GOOD LUCK, DUDE!WOOOO!

Thanks, Animal -- I appreciate it. As of now, it feels right. It's a school that's semi - close to me, (New Wave Pro Wrestling in Chula Vista, Ca.) to where it allows me to keep my full time position at Sears, while still attending College. It's either go for it now, or wait at least another year and a half, and truth be told, I'm tired of waiting. But if something doesn't feel right, I'll put it on hold longer. What's meant to be will happen in time.Professional Wrestler since 2007 (Currently on hiatus)

I hadn't heard of New Wave before, so I googled it (of course!). Seems that B-Boy is the trainer there so it's all good. I told you to check around SD first and now you found something good.
Have fun, work hard, and good luck. There is no such thing as tough. There is trained and untrained. Now which are you?

As of right now, I'm working in my ring at least 2 days a week and am in there from 8 in the morning til 6 at night. I'm using it to wrestle around with the buddies as I've stated here before, but it's also a good means to practice. I've been working on bumping, so I'm comfortable when I take the first bump at New Wave. I've been hitting the ropes full throttle each time and my cardio is pretty decent at this juncture. I'm doing a lot of the drills that I saw the UPW trainer made everyone do (Cena, Joe, Kazarian, Daniels, etc.) so I'm somewhat familiar with it.
I haven't hit the gym in a while due to working so much and I never have the energy for it, though I'm going to start back up tomorrow because I need to get back into it. I'm in pretty decent shape but you can never be in good enough shape.
I'm ready mentally and I won't know physically til I get there, but I'm feeling pretty confident. I'm not walking in there with an idea that I'm better than everyone else; Like I expressed here, once I get up there, I'm going to forget everything I've ever done and just start from scratch. I'm feeling pretty good physically. The knee and shoulders have been doing fine as of late. I messed up my back a little the other day but it seems fine now; so from that standpoint I'm ready to go. I'm really anxious to start and make a good impression.
And B - Boy is the head trainer there. I don't mean to sound ignorant, but I didn't know who he was (I heard of him) prior to hearing he was the head trainer, but I looked him up and he seems to be a good one to learn from.Professional Wrestler since 2007 (Currently on hiatus)
