    cycling after leg day?

    would biking (about 50-100 km) the day after leg day have a negative effect on my muscle growth? btw, i'm usually VERY sore after leg day...

    sorness is normal, especially in the legs...

    Cycling would probably be somewhat counterproductive in muscle building becuase of all the calories burned plus you could very easily overtrain your legs cycling for that long in conjunction with lifting... cycle a 3-4 days after you reg day (assuming you work legs once per week).

    Hi, I thing, that the low intensity biking (aproximately 100-130 HR) help to you with a regeneration. But 100 km is maybe to much.

    I'd have to agree with this. I actually notice slight improvements in moderate runs after leg days but if I go all out on the run the returns diminish greatly.

    Just make sure you increase your carb intake to offset the glycogen you'll be burning. any particular reason you're cycling btw?
