    squat question(not about depth!)

after watching ronnie in his redemption video. i realised when he does squats, he racks the bar on his back FACING the rack. so thus, he would take a step back, do squats and re-rack facing the rack too. hwoever, for me, i rack it on my back facing AWAY from the rack, take a step forward ,do squats then re rack with my back facing the rack. i sometimes have to tilt my back a little side ways to re rack it. i use a rack similar to ronnie's, and not a power rack. do you guys see any potential problems with my way of racking the bar(getting into and getting out of)

i don't really like the thought of you twisting your back while re-racking.

Nor do I. Any torsion with a lot weight on your back will wreak havoc on your discs

    Lightbulb

I squat facing the rack, can't imagine being too easy re-racking facing away, unless spotter always to hand.

I always face the rack too , you gotta make it easier to rack the bar , by facing away from the rack you are making it more dificult to rack that loaded bar up

Not facing the rack for Squats, is a very bad habit, and shows an inexperienced weight lifter, just asking for a serious injury.

    Not too smart.
