    Olympic Lifts for Hockey

    I'm on Rippetoes and was thinking about swithcing it up a little and adding come olympic lifts in there to get some more strenght and power. Any suggestions?

    Powercleans are the #1 choice for any sport, other great lifts are: the snatch, Clean and jerk, Clean and press. The lift I recommend the most is the powerclean, add that one, and If you would like, throw in some other ones.
    There is no reason to live if you cannot do the deadlift

    for hocky if youre not already doign these do ladders with logn jumps on them...jsut by wathcing someone do them ou can tell itll add tremendous speed to a hockey players "stride"(whatever you call it when they move)

    I would suggest doing Power Cleans. I would also suggest lots of squats. Make sure to focus on balance and core strength.

    For cardio, don't do too much long distance running, make sure to do lots of explosive running (sprints) and exercises for improving agility.

    Repalce BB rows with power cleans and do the 2x8 chins after.
