I currently weigh about 170lbs (trying to cut down to low 160s). I can only clean 90kgs (goal for end of summer is 100kgs). I havent tried snatching really heavy because im working on form, my clean form is decent though. I have been olympic lifting for about a month now.

Olympic bars aren't that "whippy." Only when you get above 350 lbs. or so. Olympic weightlifters just make them look that way .

    1: 91kg (200lbs)
    2: 71kg (155lbs) - power snatch
    3: 91kg (200lbs) - power clean and jerk
    4: 162kg (356.4lbs) - in the gym
5: been training seriously for about 2 years now, ie I know what I'm doing, currently doing more powerlifting focusing on the squat, when I'm repping 315 in the squat I want to get back to technique work on the 2 classic o-lifts, maybe do a run of the joe-mills routine

    1. Im a sloppy 200 LBS, wanna cut down to 185
    2. I dont do heavy snatches often, the most I've done is 205, im sure I could do 225 with better form easy
    3. Best clean was about 4 months ago, at least, and that was 315. (theres a vid sumwhere here)...Im now reping 305 pretty easy. Most I ever jerked was 265 (very weak, I know)
    4.
    5. I've been lifting for about 2 years now.
Pain is simply weakness leaving the body

    Squat: 485

Front Squat: 325 (haven't maxed recently)

    Deadlift: 500

    Clean: 315x3

    Split Jerk: 285
