Ladies: What Does Your Purse Say About You?
I recently read an interesting article about how purses reflect the owner's personality. Dunno if it's true or not, although I tend to agree. For example: Little neat, tidy purses are usually owned by neat, tidy people. Big floppy carefree bags are usually owned by carefree (but not necessarily floppy people ... lol). Rugged looking purses are usually owned by rugged people. And so on. Anyway, I thought it might be fun to post photos of our purses ... and reveal those personalities.
Here's mine:
A messenger-style bag/purse from American Eagle, rugged yet practical. Like me! LOL

I have several purses.
Different styles, colors, materials.
An orange ostrich one with a bamboo handle (exotic), an ivory croc print that's very structured (business-like), a black leather birkin (classic), a red coach flap bag (casual but bold), a pearly pink poly-vinyl kelly bag (girly and fun), a lime-green moon bag in sport-car leather (trendy), a pale blue leather bucket bag (feminine but practical), a metallic mesh evening bag (sexy and modern)...
So, I guess I'm all over the map!

I had a crazy amount of purses, in every price range, for every occasion. Now I'm stripping down to the basics: clutches, day sacks and shoulder bags and handbags. I buy modern vintage bags and modern bags
What does my bag say about me: quality, style and *some* sort of uniqeness.
there's a purse thread here, btw

what does it say about women who don't own handbags?
i once heard someone compare a woman's handbag to an 'external uterus'."The human race is still largely a group of monkeys with slightly better grooming habits. Give them a microscope and and they'll examine their own ****, give them a telescope and they'll go looking for tits."

I'm carrying my cayman purse a lot lately. It's an antique purse made from cayman skin and a cayman carcas (including teeth) on the outside. So, I guess it says, "I bite."
