    Body fat scales

    Are these things generally accurate, or is it only the real expensive ones that are woth a crap? I stood on one at Sports Authority the other day and it told me I had 25% bodyfat. I think not. Truth is, I have no idea what mine is, but I know it isn't that high.

    From what I understand, the caliper method (which is the most readily available) can be accurate, but one has to be good at it. I'm not going to go to the trouble of finding someone to weigh me underwater, or any other method like that.

    Any thoughts?

    go buy a caliper for a couple bucks bodybuilding.com even sells them, im sure they arent very hard to figure out (after all its not brain surgery), i just bought a pair of calipers for $30 the other day.
