I'm 5'9" 170lbs and have been only lifting for 5 months after taking 5 years off. I just measured my arm (non pumped) somewhere between 17.5" and 18" I've always been natural and do more of a powerlifting type workout than bodybuilding now. I don't think my arms have ever been smaller than 16" even when I weighed 150lbs. I guess it's decent genetics. Haven't done any direct tricep work at all for about 1.5 months also. Years ago I had my arms over 19" when I weighed closer to 200lbs and aim to get back there eventually. I'm not ripped at all but at 170lbs I'm far from fat.
Tried to post a pic but it said post count must be more than 30.

biggest natural arms
People I am here to say that it is possible to have really big arms naturally. I for one do not take any supplements whatsoever. I have a great workout routine eat regularly and just kill it every time I enter the gym. I have 22.5 inch arms and they are all natural. Not as lean or cut like pro body builders but for me they make me happy and satisfied that I can build without the extra bulls**t that people pump into their bodies.

Hey kid dont give up. im 5' 5 3/4" and have 16 inch arms. started working out when i was 12. stopped when i was 26. im 34 now and have had 16 inch arms since i stopped.
but i have been in construction and hardscape installs so that helps maintain my size. im 165lbs. 16 inch arms. all natural. if you want 16 inch arms at your height you just have to work out and dedicate yourself. dont get discouraged or in a hurry otherwise you might be pressured to use that stupid stuff that makes you an aggressive douche bag that has tiny balls. get the right program for yourself. and do it natural.

I found this article a while back. It's measurements of the bodybuilding champions from the golden, pre-steroid era of bodybuilding. Also, a defined 18 inch arm is massive.
"An 18 inch arm is a HUGE arm. I've measured two people who had legitimate 18 inch arms. Both were over 6-1 and their arms hung like barrells. One guy was on steroids. The other was just a big boned country boy who liked lifting heavy weights. A lot of fiction goes into measurements claimed for top bodybuilders from the sixties on.
Year Name Height Weight neck arm forearm chest waist thigh calf wrist ankle
1939 Bert Goodrich 5'10.5" 195 17 17 14 47 33 24 17 7.6 9.2
1940/1941 John Grimek 5'8.5" 195 17 17.5 14 47 31 25 17 8 9.8
1942 Frank Leight 5'11.5" 209 17.5 17.5 14 48.5 33 24 16 8 9.5
1943 Jules Bacon 5'7" 175 15.5 15.5 12.5 44 31 23 15 7 9
1944 Steve Stanko 5'11.5" 223 18 18 14.3 48.5 35.9 ? 17 8 10
1945 Clarence Ross 5'9.5" 185-200 16.5 17 13.5 47 32 24 16 7.5 9.2
1946 Alan Stephan 5'11.5" 205 17.1 17 14.2 47.9 32.4 24.8 16.1 7.7 9.7
1947 Steve Reeves 6'1" 213 17.6 17.5 14 48 31 25.3 17.5 7.9 9.8
1948 George Eiferman 5'7.5" 195 16.5 16.7 13.4 47.5 32 25 16 7.3 9.6
1949 Jack Delinger 5'6" 195 16.8 17.2 13.8 47.5 32 25 16.6 7.7 9.5
1950 John Farbotnik 5'9" 195 16.8 17 13.5 47.5 32 24.5 15.7 7.5 9.3
1951 Roy Hilligenn 5'6" 178 16.6 16.7 13.4 46 32 23.6 15.4 7.5 9.2
1952 James Park 5'7.5 190 16.7 17 13.4 47 32.5 24.2 15.2 7.3 9
1953 Bill Pearl 5'9" 201 17.5 17.5 14 48 32.5 25 16.2 7.8 9.5
1954 Dick Dubois 6'1" 220 17.8 18 14.2 49 32.5 25.5 17.2 8 9.6
So there you are, pre-steroid the biggest muscular arms around where 18 inches. That's not to say it's not possible to get over 18 inch muscular arms. Just that they are truly a rarity and most cannot achieve such big guns naturally. I have heard of claimed natural BB possessing 19" arms but I've never heard a legitimate claim of larger natural biceps.
I hope this helps.Consistency is key, Routine the enemy

Larry Scott (a.k.a First Mr. Olympia) said that he built 18.6 inch arms naturally, before bumping them up to 20.5inch with dianabol. He obviously had some pretty great genetics, but he was only 5' 7" and built 18.6 inch lean arms without any PEDs (according to him!).
I've seen supposedly natural 20" arms that still had definition but they certainly were nowhere near contest shape.
If you can get 17" arms naturally you have got some serious big guns, if you hit 18"+ lean arms natty, you are up there with the best. With the best genetics out there you may hit 19" lean and natural, but I don't know of anyone reputable to have natural 19" lean arms.
Hope this helps.Consistency is key, Routine the enemy

A REAL answer
I have 17" arms as of two days ago and I weight 235lbs, been lifting 8 months now, I'm 5'10". Most of my buddy's are natural, like me, most around my height maybe a few years lifting, they are around 18 inches.. I know a few people with 19's, but they have been lifting heavy for about 5+ years. I'm not that big into the scene tho. Hope this helps.
