    Losing leg size Please help

    My friend loves basketball, and he has a big body frame. He has big legs which he dislikes, and he want's them to become smaller, more thin. I heard running a lot will reduce the size on your legs a lot. He plays basketball about 4 hours most days of the week. But I don't think this is enough, of course we can see its not helping.
    So how much do you times a week and how long do you guys think he should run?
    He is about 180 lbs and about 5'11.

    want to be thin? do a lot of cardio and don't eat protien, as a matter of fact, don't eat nearly anything. people wanting to be thin pisses me off though, your friend sucks

    Tell him to reduce his carbs to only fruits and veggies along with fat free dairy. He should also eat leans meats and fish. His problem is bodyfat. The answer is nutrition not training. Also if he wants more hops tell him to lift with olympic lifts and stay away from bodybuilding movements. These tips will help believe me.
