    Lower back pain

Ive had pain in my lower back for years, even before I started lifting.
It's not a constant pain though, it mainly kicks in when I switch positions... mainly if I go from standing to lying down, for about 10 seconds my lower back will hurt... it's hard to describe, it's not a sharp pain, more of a very tense feeling which slowly relaxes away.

I will sometimes get this too if I'm bent down for a short time, for example washing my face in the sink in the morning. I don't experience this as often though.

Anyone know what this is? I've never had any injuries, I have had terrible posture when sitting down all my life though, I slouch a LOT... could that have caused this?

Stretch your hamstrings, hip flexors, and piriformis. I had tight hammies for the longest time before I figured out they can cause back pain. Also, if you sleep on your back, that can also cause back pain. If so, sleep on your side.

i did a leg workout today and was in a rush to do it. a few hours afterwards my lower back started to hurt to the point where i'm having a hard time walking. i just recently started working out again this past week after basically a four year break. i've never had any back pains. can anyone help with maybe why this happend or what i can do to help relieve the pain? i can give more information about it if asked.
