2 Protein questions: What Whey Protein powder uses aspertame for flavor and...?
When Protein powders all used Aspertame as the sweetner. They mostly tasted good. Now they uses these other sweetners and they all taste like crap. What protein powders still use aspertame to sweeten their product. I am talking about pure protein and not meal replacements like myoplex (which tastes great thanks to aspertame)
My other question: Is there a casein protein powder on the market? I am looking for a protein to take before bed and casein digests longer making it last longer throughout the night.
Sucralose sweetener is better for you than aspartame, and it tastes just as good. The best protein powders are the blends (different types of proteins blended together). And probably the highest quality blended protein powder available is Ultra Size from Beverly International.
There are far too many studies, including those by the FDA, that show how safe aspertame is, and while I know about sucralose, I know its expensive and that most protein products don't use it. I have one that does, Muscle Drive HP chococalte, which still uses acesulfume (spelling), and is not that great tasting.
As for multiple blends, I get that from my myoplex and am looking for straight up whey. If I wanted a multiple blend I would get metrx protein.
