    Zach53's Animal Pump/Torrent Log

First of all THANK YOU to Universal for sending me this stack to log. Been looking forward to trying this stack out, and know its gonna get me where I want.

    House's MASS Stack

    Animal Pump:

A Pre-Workout Creatine Matrix - Built on the proven foundation of creatine, Animal Pump is no passing fancy. It's a no bull, high octane performance supplement designed to help you blast through plateaus and preconceived limitations. In addition to a full daily dose of creatine in the form of an advanced matrix (including patented MCC, CEE and TCM), you also get (1) a fusion of a swelling NO Blast Complex; (2) a shocking Energy Rush Complex; (3) an immune-support antioxidant blend; and (4) potent cell volumizers, all wrapped up in a special nutrient transport complex. From top to bottom, Animal Pump is complete and comprehensive

    Torrent:

Torrent sets a new standard for post-workout (PWO) nutrition. Though often overlooked, this part of the bodybuilding equation is the most critical aspect in the quest to foster new growth. Properly utilizing this time is vital for inducing overall muscle mass "activation". Torrent?s formula is designed to maximize the anabolic "window of opportunity" that exists after a hard training session, when muscle protein synthesis can potentially be stimulated for hours. Simultaneously, the rate of protein degradation is also increased.

    Workout, week 3 day 4
    http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...53/wekk135.jpg

Today was the first day of the stack, after waiting for my stack to come (anticipation was killling me) tore open the box, pulled out a tub of torrent and a can of ANIMAL PUMP. Went and filled up my shaker with 3 scoops of torrent, took the pack of pump with the red pill.

Animal Pump Initial impression Day 1: After having tried over 6 different pre workout NO products, ive become skeptical of any decent NO/pump product, however after reading dozens of reviews saying how incredible ANIMAL PUMP is I really wanted to give it a go. Universal's generosity and product confidence allowed me to do so. Ive taken ANIMAL PAK, and ANIMAL CUTS before so everything in one small packet was familiar, and REALLY is something i love about ANIMAL products. The pills were easy to swallow. Got my **** ready, left for the gym. After some basic stretches, and warmups I really felt my body getting ready, I did my ab rountine, and headed to the squat rack. Feeling tons of energy, a good channeled energy, I did my warm ups, then added my weight, did a set, added more, did another set, still wasnt enough, so I added more and ultimately did 4 sets of 275, legs felt great, I then walked around, took off some weight for front squats. All in all the energy was great, legs felt rock solid and explosive. I then went on to the rest of my workout, chest, with 1 delt exercise, and i threw in 1 bicep exercise just for the pump Felt great through my bench, and dumbell exercises, finishing my chest felt huge, and so tight, AMAZING FEELING. I then did 3 sets of 10 cable curls just to see what would happen, on my second set my biceps were full, tight as **** and pumped beyond any other product ive tried.

All in all day 1 was bad ass, cant wait for the pump to really kick in.

Torrent Initial Impression Day 1:Upon openeing the box i noticed the flavor was something cherry, I hate cherry flavored anything, never have liked it, however the smell wasnt bad at all, a nice fruity smell. Took 3 scoops in my shaker, post workout mixed in water, shook (blended nicely, some particles, nothing like purple wraath tho if youre familiar) and drank. Tasted good, nothing special, im sure if i liked cherry it would have tasted even better, but with any supplement taste is last on my personal reasons for taking it. Overall I would rate mixing an 8/10 and taste an 8/10. However like I said, taste and mixing mean almost nothing to me, ingredient profile, I would give a 10/10 and in my opinion ingredient profile is the number 1 most important thing with any supplement.

Day 1 was bad ass, 14 more, only negative so far is I have to wait til tomorrow to lift again.

(will update weights used tomorrow some times, i write them on the sheet)

Animal Pump Day 2: Couldnt wait to take the pump again, wasnt really a big pump day (mostly back and shoulders) but the energy was once again great, channeled and couldnt stop lifting, all the weights felt lighter than ever, definately going to be adding more to each tomorrow/next time same workout is done.

Torrent Initial Impression Day 2:Same thing as yesterday, mixed it and drank, not much to talk about here as the results will be determined 13 days from now, although I did feel really full post workout after drinking this for whatever reason.

    Workout, Week 3 Day 2
    http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v3...nt=wekk135.jpg

    Pump/torrent Day 3
First off for today, I felt kinda crappy not really in a lifting mood but no big deal, nothing really gets in the way of me lifting. So I took the pump 30 mins pre as it says, started feeling it, drove to the gym, did my warm ups, and felt dialed in, ready to go. Was a squat day and I couldnt wait, did my first set with 205, then the last 3 with 225, my legs felt tight as hell, in a good way, and really got me sweating I superset this with the hanging knee raises, and leg curls. Next was a few body weight chest exercises (push up plus/ iron cross push up) which helped warm me up a bit for chest... and this is where it really got good, last time i did this particular workout (week 3 day 2) it was pretty tough but i got through it all, today however, HOLY ****, after a warmup dumbell press set, i felt huge, AMPED and just ready to tear **** apart, last week i used 45lbs for my dumbell incline press, today i used 55 3x10 which is a lot different than 3x5 or 4x5 (last weeks) the weight flew up, form was perfect. Next was 1 arm (alternating) db bench press, last week I used 55's, but today, used 70's and once again felt like an animal (no pun). Then 3 sets of the 30 rep delt routine, and some triceps, and drank the torrent. 3 days into the stack and I feel AMAZING, today was one of the best workouts I can remember in the past 6 months, my lifts are going up FAST, and I feel GREAT on consecutive days ( i f'n hate rest days, this workout is nice the way its designed, no 2 body parts are heavy back to back). thanks again universal, ****.

Hell the torrent even tasted better today. lol.

    Pump/Torrent Day 4
Well for the most part today was pretty ****ty, I didnt sleep at all last night, studying for a final exam I had this morning, I was disappointed I missed a night of rest but school did come first this time as I REALLY needed a b+/a on this exam. Anyways, diet was a little off as well, im lacking around 500 calories of where I should be right now, however im not too worried. Todays workout was primarily shoulders with 1 bicep, and a few kettlebell style exercises (dumbell swings). Took the pump, felt it kickin in as i drove to the gym, blood started going as i went through my warm up routine, felt really good today for whatever reason, I dunno, I felt like **** and wasnt expecting a solid workout. I was wrong. I immediately felt the pumps kicking in after my first 20 rep set of dumbell swings, my energy wasnt as good as the past couple days but I doubt this had anything to do with the pump, but rahter my lack of sleep. As i progressed I felt better and better, and the pumps got even more rediculous, my 30 rep shoulder routine (for traps, 1/4, overhead, regular shrugs) was amazing, Had AN AWESOME pump going in my traps, better than ive ever had since I began lifting (even back into my powerclean days of high school). All in all day 4 was another great workout which initially felt like it was going nowhere, a wasted day, however the pumps/energy REALLY brought it back. love this stuff.

    Pump/Torrent day 5
Today I felt great, slept great last night, no alarm clock, no class, no final, ahhh. Anyways got up did my usual thing, weighed myself and was a little pissed off having weighed in at 179.5, same weight as when I began bulking, made me mad like I said but its also a good sign for me as I know now to add even more calories per day (I started off with a certain amount not knowing exactly where my BMR), but all my lifts have been going up so I know something is right. Took the pump about 2 hours after I ate breakfast, but today ate half a banana and some white rice with it, this seemed to help a lot as my energy was great and I seemed to be sweating a lot more. I then drove to the gym and just felt so good, rock solid all around ( i dunno how to explain this really) before I lifted anything. Today’s routine was primarily legs and I felt great, was exploding up on every squat, and in the scan you can see, added 30lbs more than the last time I did this same workout, and was repping my previous max for the last 2 sets. Front squats were good too, added 20lbs since last time. *(circled things on my sheet are + weight from last time). Then was chest, my bench gains have always been progressively slower than legs however my last two sets were 185x6 much better than last time when I couldn’t finish the sets, I will be adding weight next time I bench as well. Dumbbell incline was also good, added 5lbs per dumbbell and finished everything, will also be adding there next time.

All in all today was an amazing workout, my legs were shaking, I could barely walk up a set of stairs which is such a good feeling. All my lifts are going up and my recovery time is great.

Also another little bit I got body fat and stats done.
    5’9’’
185 (with food and water, etc.)
10% body fat (3 point skin fold, chest, stomach, leg)

Pump/Torrent day 6: Really had a great day, woke up a little late and did my workout kinda early which mashed about 1300 calories into a 5 hours period but oh well **** happens, anyways I felt a little soreness in my back from the previous day which I know is a good thing I really busted ass on bench and could feel it today (haven’t felt that in a while, I know the pump truly helped right there). Today’s workout was a lighter day without any of the big 4 lifts, today’s routine was primarily a balance and power day with the split jerks, rows, reverse overhead lunges, and squat presses. All in all had another great workout with great pumps, especially with my one added bicep lift (I feel my biceps are slightly underdeveloped, I was never one of those dumbass kids who goes in does 16 sets of biceps, 3 sets of smith bench, a couple shrugs and then leaves.) So to conclude, day 6 was great, pump works great, torrent tastes good, lifts all going up, weight going up, and I still got 9 more days!

    Pump/Torrent day 7
Day 7 was another great workout, the reps and sets are starting to change up a bit so endurance is somewhat coming into play now, with 4x10 on squats, and 3x10 incline dumbbell press for chest, however there are still a few lower rep like flat dumbbell bench which is still 4x5. Workout started off kinda ****ty I didn’t feel very good this morning and 4x10 squats weren’t looking too fun, however I shut the hell up and did them, on the 4th set I felt really good, then did my leg curls and could hardly walk which is a great feeling. Did my incline bench with ease using 60’s (last week using I believe 55’s) and finishing all but 1 rep on my own. Then added more weight to my flat dumbbell presses as well, was doing great then checked my phone to see I had to meet for lunch in an hour which wasn’t enough time to really finish with proper rest, etc, so I supersetted the shoulder routine and triceps and had an amazing pump in my delts and triceps, really felt great, left then drank my torrent, and that was day 7. All in all I am really liking this stack, I’m seeing solid weight gain, just about every lift has gone and is going up, and most importantly recovery time is great, I can kick my ass barely walk outta the gym one day, then the next day im ready to go like new.

    Pump/Torrent day 8
Had really great energy today on the way to the gym after a good nights rest. I woke up late today for a final lol so I kinda had to drink that myoplex rtd but oh well **** happens. My workout was shoulders and back primarily and I supersetted a lot of it today, my energy was great, really sweating, and just felt awesome. My trap shoulder rountine (10/10/10) got another great pump going and im going to be adding 5lbs to each lift next time this is done. Another great day with animal pump/torrent, nothing really more to tell about. Good energy, great pumps, great recovery.

Pump/Torrent day 9 Today was a really great workout, went to the gym, it was milf hour for one of the classes which is always fun, workout said flat bench but I did dumbbell bench instead, did 75lb for all 4 sets (last time could one do 75 on first set), and 60 lbs for incline press (last time used 55s). I started off doing chest cause some douche bags were using the squat rack for whatever they were doing (curls or shrugs or some bull****). Anyways once they left I got in the squat rack, put on 275 and completed every rep, on the last set really going as slow as possible, and barely getting that lest one up. That felt pretty good then front squats were next, I added 20lbs from last time, and again finished every rep, 2 sets in I felt ****ing beat, but it was kinda weird I was listening to rise against (usually do for my workouts) and these lyrics came on as I was sitting on one of the benches kinda dazing out of it ready to puke…

is this the point where we give up?
now is this the point where we give in?
now is this the point where we turn ourselves in?

or is this the time to ask questions?
or is this the time to seek answers?
now is this the time to throw it all in?

I felt chills and immediately felt f’n pumped to finish that last set, went as low as possible on each rep, weight felt light as hell and the pain in my legs was working for me. Finished with some RDL’s at 185lbs for 3x8, and drank my torrent. Today was really an awesome workout and I love the energy and stamina the pump gives. And another kind of side note, I will be adding in 20 mins of jump rope per day starting yesterday, 100 jumps in a row no **** ups, every minute for 20 mins.

Here are the rest of the lyrics to that song, I suggest you download or if you don’t already listen, check out rise against. GREAT lifting music.

    "Halfway There"

is this the point where we give up?
now is this the point where we give in?
now is this the point where we turn ourselves in?

or is this the time to ask questions?
or is this the time to seek answers?
now is this the time to throw it all in?

when enough is enough that's when you know that you're halfway there
when enough is enough that's when you know that you're halfway there
    you're halfway there
that's when you know that you're halfway there

this is the point where we stand up
now this is the point where we take back
the things that are keeping us from being free

so when enough is enough that's when you know that you're halfway there
when enough is enough that's when you know that you're halfway there

your voice the airwaves sent you prayed my life would end,
the wasted time I spent ashamed I called you friend,
give me one reason, I need a reason
give me one reason, I need a reason, one reason

    Pump/Torrent day 11
Today was a really great workout, legs and chest day, I felt really great while warming up and did my squats, then went to bench, set Personal records for both incline dumbbell and flat alternate dumbbell bench which in a week is pretty ****in good in my opinion. Im dropping calories some as well since my weight has been going up pretty quickly, I can definitely tell in my chest and my upper body is noticeably wider. Energy from the pump is still strong just as it was in day 1 and I have taken it every day straight for 11 days now. Im feeling sore almost every day now but still don’t have the will power to take a day off (I make sure not to work the same thing two days in a row tho). This stack is awesome. Every work out becomes more intense as animal pump and torrent allow me to kick the **** outta myself day after day. Love this stuff.

Also today’s song I wanna post is Blood Brothers by Papa Roach. Song came on random on ipod and really just sums up a lot of what this sport is to me.

Watch your back because the next man is coming
And you don't know if the next man is dumbin
Survival of the fittest what it is
I got yo back, you got my back and that's the biz
Blood is rushing through my veins
I got the power channel the energy
And with my strength I will devour
Sickening thoughts are running through my head
    That's when I realize I'm glad I'm not dead
Corruption and abuse, the salesman of our blood
For the public's craving, existence in the dark
It's in our nature to destroy ourselves
It's in our nature to kill ourselves
It's in our nature to kill each other
It's in our nature to kill, kill, kill
It was a dream and then hit me, reality struck
And now my life is all shifty and it all moves fast
Close to buck 50 and we all stand strong
In respect to the family in times of our insanity
And through the words of profanity
    I describe our dysfunctional family
Blood Brothers keep it real to the end
Deeper than the thoughts that you think, not a trend

    Pump/Torrent day 12
Today I woke up pretty late, as I was staying with my lady friend, my test levels were probably pretty low this morning lol… anyways, didn’t feel like waiting for food to digest so I made a shake and then took pump about an hour later. Had a really great workout, flew threw kettlebells (dumbbell swings) heart was really going and I was sweating and felt a solid pump after the first three sets of those, then did my DB push press and bench pistols (bench pistols are 1 leg exercises, sit on bench then stand up with one leg, sit down, stand up, etc for both legs) I added weight for these today which I normally don’t. Did my trap exercise set of 30 and felt ****ing huge, noticeably too (meaning I can tell ive grown here). Then did renegade rows which are a bitch to do (push up with dumbbell then pull dumbbell back at top of push up, 10 each arm) did 2 sets and felt beat to ****, but I still had one more, I rested for 2 mins and nailed the last set, pretty much collapsing after the last one from exhaustion. Then I did my bicep cable curls and called it a day, pumps were massive my arms (I just measure have gained 1/2’’ since starting this stack). Like I said yesterday these products really give me the ability and mental function to kick my ass at every workout. Another awesome day I’m addicted.

Nice detail, your arms were 1/2" bigger after the workout or later on in the day?

    Pump/Torrent day 13
Today was a really great workout, felt good energy, seems like its starting to wear off some however the pumps are still good, I went really heavy bench today and kinda strayed off my regular routine (didn’t do about 3 of the exercises). Set new PR maxing 225x5, and did a pyramid bench routine, really had a massive pump in my chest and biceps when I was done, Then I superset 3 leg exercises (Curls, extensions, seated press) and felt like puking when I was done. Today was a really great day and my bench numbers are going up extremely fast, also the post leg upset stomach really felt great and told me I was busting ass.
