So now I understand why eating fat and make you loose fat but one thing I want answered is. How can eating lots of fat still be good for you. How can eating fried bacon, fried eggs, fried/oven steak & mustard for any meal during the day be good for you compared to a steak, rice/potatos with a salad and peas?

You don't eat meat all the time, you also eat lots of veg. But think of it this way. You eat the sort of thing that you could physically go out and catch or kill if you had to. Stuff like bread and rice takes a hell of a lot of processing before you could eat it, you'd never bother if you were hunting your own food. And the stuff you can pick or kill is the stuff your body evolved to eat.

IMO it is best to have a balance of healthy and saturated fats during a keto diet, they all have their purposes! IMO as long as you refrain from consuming carbs with your fats its not really going to make that much of a difference, its the HIGH GI processed carbs that are your real enemy, not saturated fat!

This is a reason is is advised always to have a vitamin/mineral pack when following a keto diet. You lose constant supply of certain micronutrients that you want to make up for.
