    I can't take this ...

I am currently on my 6th day on the atkins diet (before 90% of you start to flame me you should know that I am currently creating my keto meal plan) and I just tested my ketosis levewl and I am in ketosis but I can't take this anymore. I am having hell bad carb cravings and I just want go eat some carbs. Why is this happening, I am in ketosis and I have no suger in me and should not be getting cravings.

If this is the case I think I will stick with eating normally with a 40-40-20 meal plan or just eat what ever I want and just make sure its healthy and eat medium sized portions that way I will be under maintanence calories and still loose weight.

a normal person's conditioned to eat carbs, 6 days of not eating them isn't gonna make you stop craving them? That's part of the reason why the 2 weeks before your first carb-up is recommended, helps you control your carb-up carb intake.

Just see out the 2 weeks, trust me it gets a lot easier, not eating carbs just becomes natural

    BFL

I am going to change my routine to the Body For Life routine, its the only diet that I have liked and even though I can eat all (alot I should say) the meat and eggs I want on Keto/Atkins/any low car diet. I just don't feel right, I fell out of place. But on the BFL program I feel fine and I like the diet, and for a fitness program to work I beleive that this is an essensial part.

Could'nt have said it better myself!
Sacrifice is necessary to reach your goals!
My hunch is you will get the same if not more cravings with a 40-40-20 diet as insulin will not be as easily controlled!
