what kind of carbs are good pre workout and post workout?

Bump on that, I also have a bannana post workout to raise insulin although many use a higher GI carb like dextrose or honey etc.

I like yams and tuna pre-workout and perhaps some oatmeal with a Tablespoon of jelly and some egg whites afterwards.
