Im usually pretty good at most sports i participate in... except for soccer. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that i am 6'5 but that **** is hard. Although ive never played hocky i would assume that is pretty challenging as well.

baseball is the hardest sport in the world. You fail 7 out of 10 times and you go the Hall of Fame. THe hardest thing to do is hit a 95mph ball with a bat.

for me
rugby was harder to learn, but that was 2 yrs ago, now its easy and i'm an allstar
football was easier to pick up and learn, but has been a huge disadvantage and made it that much harder on due to my size, only 5'7 and 160lbs now, used to be a bit shorter and fatter
any sport can be challenging though, its all about rising to the occasion and overcoming the challenge**Canadian Crew**

if you played soccer more often you would be good at it also, in my country soccer is like a cult everybody plays it
in my opinion waterpolo is hard as hell...you really need to be an animal to wrestle and swim like those guys and still have enough endurance to shot the ball play defence...

Okay, who here has actually played more than 2 or 3 sports for an extended period of time? Thats the first problem with answering this question.
The second is, what kind of challenging? Requires the most skill? Most athleticism? Most endurance? Most everything?
Another problem is, whats hard for one may be easier for another. Consider what would be the most challenging sport for a sumo wreslter. Now, for a horse jockey. Yea, they would probably argue their sport is the hardest but neither could do the others for crap.
From my experiences, football requires the most unadulterated athleticism (speed & power for a few seconds at a time), rugby requires the most extended high-intensity endurance, wrestling is the highest intensity for the 6-7 mins the match lasts and requires a completely different mindset and conditioning, golf takes the most patience/practice/skill, darts takes the most beer, curling takes the coldest climate, lumberjack games take the most flannel and chainsaws.. the list goes on. I think I might try boxing, I think along with wrestling, it might contend for the most physically demanding if we're not talking marathon/triathalon type endurance.

I find soccer extremely hard for me. Not just because it demands arguably the most stamina compared to other sports, but also because you have to use your feet and not your hands. When we play soccer in Phys. Ed. in school, I don't do bad. I also have horrible accuracy when kicking the ball.
Mentally, I heard golf was the hardest. I've never ever played the sport before. Not even for fun.

Sorry but the answer to this question is really clear as day. If a wrestler or boxer has a record of 3-7 you consider him to not be any good. If a baseball player gets 3 hits and makes 7 outs, he is one of the best players in the game. A 95mph fastball reaches the plate in .4 seconds. That takes incredible amount of hand-eye-coordination to hit a pitch like that. Not to mention if the delivery from the pitcher isn't fluent, then that makes it harder to pick up the pitch making it even harder to hit the baseball. Hands down, baseball is the hardest sport.

CRICKET bitches. Its like baseball when it comes to batting, only that when you face the ball, the ball will bounce before reaching bat. The boucning of the ball often results in lateral deviation, which you have to pick up in 0/5 secs. You have to contend with swing- inwards outwards etc
Also, the batsman never sure about the placement of the ball and thus the height of the bounce. You need incredible concentration.
hitting a baseball would be easier since the ball is always in flight.Lose yourself in the moment, remember that!

Um shootfighting?! You gotta punch with a guy and try not to get slammed on the ground and ditching and trying to throw on submissions. 1 on 1, no team you can rely on. Just you vs your opponent.
Combat sports definitly. YES THAT INCLUDES WRESTLING!https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=180003183&p=1635918623#post1635918623

I'm guilty of that sh*t too, waiting for somebody to powder my nuts cuz I did 20 reps of whatever the **** on the bench. Big f*king deal. It is all relative." G Diesel
